Patti Farese, Vice President
Certified Hand Therapist
I am blessed with my husband of 28 years, our successful sons at University of Florida, and our competent and devoted staff at Farese Physical Therapy Center.
I enjoy spending time with family, triathlon training, healthy gourmet cooking, grilling and entertaining, fashion and interior design, active travel adventures, boating and working on real estate venture with my husband.
Restoring function for the hand and upper extremity injured is my passion. I also enjoy the challenges of the overhead athletes, tennis players, swimmers, throwing athletes and post-mastectomy patients.
St. Petersburg’s weather is conducive for outdoor swimming, biking and running and dining al fresco. I can prescribe beach walking for ankle rehab, surf running for injured triathletes, aquatic therapy with noodles in the Gulf of Mexico and stand-up paddling for core stabilization.

Beth May, Physical Therapist Assistant
Prior to becoming a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, I taught yoga in Pittsburgh for 8 years. The principals of yoga are what brought me to study the healing of mind, body and spirit that led me to work in the field of physical therapy. I find purpose and gratitude when helping people heal and, as the saying goes, “ Choose what you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.” (Unknown)
I am enjoying exploring St. Pete’s many parks, outdoor events and, of course, the amazing beaches with my husband of 18 years. Our 6-year-old German Shepard, Connor, who is much less adventurous, prefers that we all stay inside and enjoy the creature comforts of home. Sometimes, a day snuggled on the couch with a good book can be just as wonderful as a day at the beach for us.

Robin Wharton, Physical Therapist Assistant
Before graduating from St. Petersburg College in 1995 as a Physical Therapist Assistant, I worked in the retail industry for 21+ years. Upon graduation, I embarked on practicing in other rehab venues such as hospital settings, long term care settings, subacute, acute and neurological settings but I found outpatient orthopaedic to be the most rewarding. I returned to work for Farese Physical Therapy Center in 2006, most recently, and have been here ever since.

Pati Junqueira, Physical Therapist Technician
I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and I moved to the United States in 2004 to be close to my twin sister. I have a Bachelor degree in Physical Therapy and one in Physical Education. I owned a personal training gym in Tampa for 11 years. I now live in St. Pete. I love St. Pete because I am close to my sister and the beach.
I started working at Farese Physical Therapy Center in 2017 as a Physical Therapist Technician while studying to take my physical therapy license in the United States.
In my free time, I am a personal trainer and train to compete in triathlons and marathons. I particularly like the long distance races because they challenge me. I participated in the Hawaii World Championship, Boston and New York marathons. I love to work with people and help them achieve a better health.
